I was messing with my macro tubes yesterday and came up with some pretty good shots.
If only I could get these kind of sunspots while taking PORTRAITS!
I love this picture because it's focused on the eyelashes.
Yummy!
I am absolutely loving the macro here. I hope you are too, which macro shot is the best?

We Wish You A Merry Christmas!
This Christmas I didn't ask for much at all. But now, I need to do that EVERY YEAR! I got everything on my list. Specifically, I wanted to show you these.

All of these are SOOC except this last one (the eye...it was too bright and so I toned it down that's it).
How did I take these super-macro pictures? (do you see where I am going?) I got 4 macro tubes. 1x 2x 4x and 10x. I cannot believe how well they work. I am so happy. :)
Do you like Macro? And which shot it your favorite?
Merry Christmas everyone! DON'T FORGET THE TRUE MEANING!

Lunar Eclipse! **Pictures!**
Where do I begin, there is a million sentences that I could begin this post like, "Oh my goodness, it was freezing." "I am so tired" "The Lunar Eclipse was magical"...Yes, there we go, the Lunar Eclipse was magical, and I have pictures to prove it.
Yes they all are a bit fuzzy, even though we have a telephoto..:(
I think it looks better without crop..

Don't you?
Here are a few more without the cropping or watermarking done.
Psst...Gonna burst in here real quick, entering this one into Sweet Shot Tuesday!
Did you stay up late to see it?

My Favorite Shot
Carlotta over at Pastor's Girl's Ponderings is having a photography challenge! The theme is "My Favorite Shot". Oh my goodness! I had such a hard time deciding what photo to use. I just had a photo shoot with my friend. We were trying to come up with a picture that described her. This one was the one I chose.
I love the tones that make it feel like fall, I love all the different things that show who she is.
BUT...I edited it again, and I think I like the second result better.
It is more vibrant, it has warmer tones, more colorful. So this is the one I'm entering.
I hope you go and enter!

First I added a watermark with Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7. Then I messed around on picnik for a bit and this was what I got!

The rest are all SOOC...
I hope you enjoyed! Share a link or two to some of your favorite bokeh posts/pictures.

The Penguins Go Marching!
These adorable little things were so hard to make...

But so worth it...How to make these delicious babies, below. What you need: Large Olives Medium Olives Baby Carrots Cream Cheese A knife Toothpicks How to: Use the knife to cut a small part out of a large olive and stuff it with cream cheese. Cut the baby carrots into desired size for beak and feet. Stick the feet at the bottom of the olive. (Note: you may need to put extra cream cheese on the bottom for it to stick.) Take a medium olive and stick the beak through the slit that is already in the olive. Take a toothpick and poke the head and the feet to keep it together. Voila! Enjoy! Tell me if you try this out! ~Iona
