Clicked and Captured: First Photography Contest!

Hannah over at Clicked and Captured is having her very first photography contest! Woo hoo!
The subject was "emotion". I have plenty of pictures that scream, "EMOTION!" but the one below, stood out to me the most.

Excited. That is my emotion. You can tell this girl is excited and entergetic, just by looking at her, falling out buns, her excited face.

Touch Up Tuesday @ Paper Heart Camera

All I did was add my watermark (to both, I know it's not really SOOC but I didn't want anyone to steal my picture!) and to the edit, I bumped up the contrast. That's it. Just in case you are wondering, these are pictures of our Christmas tree lights! We put up our tree yesterday and this is my first successful "only-bokeh" picture.

I Didn't Blink Photography Contest {Week 5}

Finally, another week of I Didn't Blink. I have forgotten 3 weeks in a row and this time I won't forget.

I have so many posts as drafts. I need to catch up on posting. One of my favorite shots from this November is below...

I don't know what I like the best about this photo. The sparkling snow we just got? The bokeh? The aperture? What do you think?

In honor of our sudden snow...The subject this week is....

weather.

The point is to post a picture that represents what your weather has been like. Cold? Sunny? Windy? Even posting a picture of a flower in full bloom, tells me that you're weather has been sunny.

Oh How My Photography Has Improved...

I was just thinking recently, I wonder how much my photography has improved. Well, take a look for yourself...

I am amazed at how I have improved in my skills. I am so happy I have gone this far with photography and hope to go further in my journey. Have you noticed an improvement in your photography?

Before and After

I edited a sweet little girl that lives next door.

 AFTER THE EDIT:

What I did, was I bumped up the contrast about 16. Then I changed the Gamma Correction, adding a little more red. And after adding my watermark, I got a pretty good result!

When I saw this the other day, I practically danced. I was stuck at 27 for over 4 months. But then it boosted up three. I should have been happy with my 27. And I was. But now I'm happier.
